Validated blueprints, reference architectures, and Terraform configurations for Google Cloud Networking solutions.

Ken's Contributions

  • Mortgage Agent Model Upgrade: Upgraded default model references from deprecated gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview to GA gemini-3.1-flash-lite across Agent Gateway and Service Extensions GKE Gateway blueprints, fixing deployment permission and 404 errors (#142).

Overview

The Google Cloud Networking Solutions repository provides enterprise-grade, validated architecture blueprints, reference designs, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/HCL) modules for deploying secure, high-performance networking on Google Cloud.

These blueprints encompass modern enterprise networking patterns, ranging from Cross-Cloud Interconnect and Hybrid Mesh VPC architectures to next-generation AI infrastructure, such as Agent Gateway routing and Service Extensions on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

Features

  • Validated Reference Blueprints: Production-ready Terraform and HCL templates for enterprise networking architectures and hybrid multi-cloud connectivity.
  • AI Infrastructure & Agent Gateway: Blueprints for securing, routing, and inspecting traffic for autonomous AI agents and Model Context Protocol (MCP) toolboxes.
  • Service Extensions & GKE Gateway: Integration patterns for programmable network proxies using WebAssembly (Wasm) and Service Extensions on GKE Gateway.
  • Automated Deployment & Testing: Scripts and CI/CD workflows for verifying end-to-end network topologies and policy enforcement.

Architecture & Tech Stack

The solutions are architected using cloud-native Infrastructure-as-Code and containerized agent runtimes:

  • Infrastructure as Code: HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL) and Terraform for reproducible infrastructure provisioning.
  • Agent Runtime & Automation: Python scripts powering AI agent demonstrations, deployment orchestrations, and testing harnesses.
  • Networking & Proxy Utilities: Go and Shell automation scripts for traffic generation, validation, and container builds.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Integrated with Google Cloud networking services (Cloud Interconnect, Cloud Armor, Service Extensions, GKE, and Agent Gateway).
